About a real draft

AK-47 is a Soviet assault rifle associated with designer Mikhail Kalashnikov. Its development took place in the 1940s and the Soviet army accepted the construction in 1949. The family of these weapons then spread to a number of countries and developed many derivative options. The distinctive curved container and the shape of the wooden parts are one of its recognizable characters. Markings AK-47 is therefore also known outside military history, yet it is necessary to distinguish the original model from later versions.
